The end result is an efficient properly controlled system that provides patrons of the Harvard Ridge Pool Club with a building they can use and enjoy for years to come.

In our 20 plus years of experience, we have used many types of controls. In general, for pool environments, we have found that simple electromechanical controls are superior in many respects. The classic 2-stage heat/2stage cool thermostat and human hair humidistat included as standard equipment with Aqua-TEC dehumidifiers have a proven track record in poolrooms. They are stable, readily calibrated, easily maintained and far more cost effective to troubleshoot and replace. Microprocessors in the unit are difficult to troubleshoot, expensive to replace and almost always involve a delay in obtaining parts. And unlike Aqua-TEC, there is no way to operate the unit while waiting for parts if (when) the microprocessor fails. Note that if your facility requires interface with a building automation system, the controls contractor can easily work with the Aqua-TEC’s relay inputs and their own field mounted sensors to meet your needs.
