We have had the Vital Air unit installed for over a year without any issues. Our pool humidity is maintained precisely and moisture has not been a problem. I would highly recommend the Vital Air product to anyone building or renovating an indoor pool.

In general, it is recommended that the space temperature be maintained at approximately 2 degrees F above the pool water temperature. For competition pools at 78-80 degrees F, an air temperature of 80-82 degrees F will provide for comfort on the deck and minimize the rate of evaporation from the pool. Note that this does not apply to therapy pools, spas or hot tubs where the temperature of the water may range from 94 to 104 degrees F. In these cases, the temperature should be set for comfort (as low as 82 or 84, but never to exceed 90 degrees F). The evaporation rate will be increased when the pool is open and in use. Covers are strongly recommended for spas, hot tubs and therapy pools to minimize evaporation and conserve energy when the pool is not in use.
