We have had the Vital Air unit installed for over a year without any issues. Our pool humidity is maintained precisely and moisture has not been a problem. I would highly recommend the Vital Air product to anyone building or renovating an indoor pool.

Although technically possible, we do not recommend this strategy. The primary reason is that condensate from the evaporator coil typically contains a variety of fine contaminants and impurities that have been quite literally washed out of the air. To recover this water would mean installing and maintaining some specialized (expensive) water filtration. Unless you need to maintain a true closed system, the juice is not worth the squeeze. In many jurisdictions this strategy is prohibited by code. In general, condensate should be piped (pumped if necessary) via an indirect connection to the drain.
