Yes, the heat removed from the air in the process of dehumidification is recycled into the air and the pool water as needed. Only in summer with a call for cooling will a portion of this energy be rejected into the outdoor air-cooled (or the water cooled) condenser (when so equipped) in order to maintain comfort in the space.
